I Am My Sister's Keeper
Mentorship Program

Empowering Survivors. Cultivating Leaders. Building Sisterhood.

Our Survivor Sisterhood is made up of women who have overcome their own battles and are now committed to walking alongside others still finding their way. We are the caretakers, the warriors, and the steady force behind the healing journey. Becoming a Sacred Companion is more than a title, it’s a calling. It means choosing to lead with compassion, courage, and resilience. It means being present for those who are hurting and offering strength to those still discovering their own. We are the light in someone else’s darkness, we are our Sister’s Keeper.

Our Signature Initiative

Sisters In Service

A Community Action Initiative within the I Am My Sister’s Keeper Program

Sisters in Service (SIS) is where mentorship becomes movement. It’s the hands and heart of I Am My Sister’s Keeper—the space where women survivors put compassion into action through community engagement, service, and collaboration.

Within SIS, participants complete community service hours that deepen their understanding of sisterhood and leadership. Whether they’re organizing drives, volunteering at local events, or partnering with other women-led organizations, our Keepers learn that healing grows stronger when it’s shared.

💫 What SIS Offers

  • Community Service Projects
Participants take part in meaningful projects that support women and families, helping meet real needs within our community.

  • Mentorship in Motion
SIS Keepers continue supporting new participants in The NEST program—offering encouragement, guidance, and resources through lived experience.

  • SIS Partnerships
Collaborations with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders who share our mission to empower women survivors.

  • SIS Service Hours                                                                                                Opportunity for students, interns, and individuals to complete community servive hours while contributing to our programs and community impact.

  • Reflection & Growth
Each act of service concludes with reflection, allowing participants to connect their experience of giving back to their personal journey of healing and leadership.
